Sound of Kythera

Kythera, Greece – January – June 2016
The Sound of Kythera is a youth training and cultural initiative that took place in the island of Kythera in Greece. The program worked closely with a group a young people (age 16 – 17) from the island, who developed a series of multimedia resources inspired by the acoustic environment, the heritage and the stories of their island. As part of the project the participants, worked along with artists, technicians and academics to develop an online soundmap of their island and an interactive tabletop installation at Kythera Airport.
