Mangrove School Project

Workshop on environmental storytelling with 20 children from islands of the Sundarbans at ISIM gallery, Botanical Survey of India. The workshop involved facilitated discussions, a tour of recent climate-change related exhibitions, screenings and a storyboard-based activities that encouraged the students to share their experience of the climate emergency.
Our facilitator and core team member, Dr. Angelos Theocharis, has worked with various indigenous communities Bangladesh, India, and Vietnam, championing community digital storytelling that explores the impact of climate change in the regions most impacted by it.
The workshop was delivered as part of the Mangrove School Project by the Centre for World Environmental History, University of Sussex.
